Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane 2017

After a one-year break, the highly anticipated Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival (MBFF) made its comeback to Brisbane in spectacular fashion. The festival was held at Brisbane City’s Old Government House this year and ran from 27 – 31 August, showcasing more designers and more outfits than ever before. The best of the best on Queensland’s fashion scene, as well as some of Australia’s leading names, including Manning Cartell, Camilla, Dion Lee, Lisa Brown, and many more graced the runway with their Spring/Summer collections.
The festival commenced with the Pacific Fair Fashion Show which showcased new-season collections from both Australian and International luxury labels, such as Aje, Alice McCall, Christian Louboutin, Ginger & Smart, and Michael Kors.
Fashion enthusiasts were spectators to the future of design with the NEXT Hotel Next Gen Group Show, on Tuesday 29 August, which presenting the up-and-coming fashion talents of Queensland. It featured but wasn't limited to QUT Fashion, Bold, Mara Swim, Black and Bling, as well as Brisbane School of Fashion and TAFE Queensland Brisbane.
The McKinney’s Jewellers Group Show on Wednesday, 30 August, highlighted some of Brisbane’s most loved labels at Old Government House such as White Label Noba, Wilde Willow, Paul Hunt and Sacha Drake.
The festival wrapped up on Thursday, 31 August, with the Mercedes-Benz Group Show boasting an outstanding final show which saw the likes of Camilla, Aqua Blu Australia, Chelsea De Luca, Lisa Brown, George Wu, Urbbana, Dion Lee, Ginger & Smart, and Manning Cartell.
Mercedes-Benz Brisbane was delighted to be a part of yet another successful MBFF, while Mercedes-Benz continues to be the Principal Partner for the 22nd year of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Australia.
